Souleiada

The orphan sisters Tejiu Aniu (left) and Tejiu Yinai are the first girls supported by the Souleiada initative, who will begin their university education (B.A.) in September 2011. In order to generate more support for their cause yet I organized a fundraiser as part of a small photo exhibition on Yi Women in Liangshan. The exhibition shows pictures of Yi (Nuosu) women and girls, which I took in Liangshan between August 2005 and September 2007, and runs from March 12 to April 7.
